Full Flight Hosts First Ever Kendall Square Archery Fesitval

Company Recognized for Introducing Cambridge Tech Start-up Community to Archery

We had no idea all the interest in archery we would see when we moved into our new office at Cambridge Innovation Center, last February. By the time Summer rolled around we knew we had to do something to share archery with others in the community. With the help of sponsors Kittery Trading Post, Rhodes Donahoe, P.C., Cambridge Trust Company, Bob Lee Bows and Biomed Realty Trust along with our pro staff, Sean Callanan we hosted the first ever Kendall Square Archery Festival. More than 75 participants from the local tech start-up community took the opportunity to try archery outdoors in the middle of Kendall Square on a beautiful fall afternoon.

Thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, participants, Cambridge City Councillor Leland Cheung and the entire City Council for making the event such a success.

We are committed to a larger event in 2013 to introduce archery to a wider audience in Cambridge.  Stay tuned here on our site and on our Facebook fan page for upcoming details.

HEAR WHAT ARCHERY'S TOP FIELD EDITORS ARE SAYING

"In this year's test, we're introducing two new performance metrics that we feel are destined to become industry standards: AD/40 which predicts arrow drop at 40 yards, and KE/20 which provides a true measurement of kinetic energy at a realistic hunting distance, in this case 20 yards."
